Hi, I'm Crystal (CPB), and I'm so glad you're here.

I'm an actress, producer, and writer, and I love telling stories about women who lead through challenge and change. That love has taken me further than I ever imagined: ten Best Actress awards for my leading roles in Sound and The Recipe, a series-regular role on the Emmy-nominated short form comedy series Bridesman, and appearances on NBC, Lifetime, USA, and Freeform. Most recently, I starred as the lead in The Callback opposite Russell Hornsby, directed by Kara Sullivan, and my work has screened at festivals, most recently the San Antonio Film Festival (The People vs. Simon Peterson).

Behind the camera, my husband, director Tawan Bazemore, and I run Cinema Optics, our production company. We make visually rich, socially conscious films. We have 54 festival wins so far, including the Panavision-nominated Sound, and The Recipe. Our new work on the festival circuit right now.

Then there's my heart project, CPB Little Reminders, a boutique lifestyle brand rooted in daily gratitude and intentional living.
