PORTER BAZEMORE
I fancy meeting you…
As a woman and storyteller, I place great importance on being involved in projects that use film to challenge social norms and elevate conversations. My work in television and film is a commitment to my craft.
An Atlanta native, I now call Los Angeles home with my husband, Director/Cinematographer, Tawan Bazemore. Under our Cinema Optics banner, we have proudly produced award-winning films.
Creator of CPB Little Reminders, I have chosen to use my platform to promote gratitude in my own unique way. I believe a life of gratitude begets a life of abundance. Cheers to abundant living!

The Recipe is a timely and necessary film, with a message in-step with the pulse of the world! I love the complexities of the characters and the choices they are presented with within the recipe. Forgiveness is always an option.

THE RECIPE
8 Official Selections | 8 Noms | 2 WINS: BEST ACTRESS & PEOPLE’S CHOICE
In a re-imagined America where slavery and the Jim Crow South never existed, Olufemi Adisa (Crystal Porter-Bazemore) is burdened with her dying mother's last request-to find Carol Anne Cole (Jennifer Althen Beacham) and deliver a cherished family recipe. This recipe, intended to fulfill a promise Olufemi's father made but never completed, symbolizes a chance at healing and forgiveness. However, the path to reconciliation is obstructed by a violent shared history, including a murder that occurred 22 years earlier.
