An Atlanta native, I now call Los Angeles home with my husband, Director/Cinematographer, Tawan Bazemore. Under our Cinema Optics banner, we have proudly produced award-winning films.

Creator of CPB Little Reminders, I have chosen to use my platform to promote gratitude in my own unique way. I believe a life of gratitude begets a life of abundance. Cheers to abundant living!

SITA AWARDS

Extremely honored to be awarded the 2024 SITA AWARD for BEST ACTRESS for my role as Olufemi Adissa in THE RECIPE.

Special thank yous to the SITA (Success In The Arts) Awards. The incredible cast and crew of the film. Our visionary Director, Tawan Bazemore. And everyone celebrating this achievement with me.

The Recipe is a timely and necessary film, with a message in-step with the pulse of the world! I love the complexities of the characters and the choices they are presented with within the recipe. Forgiveness is always an option.

In a re-imagined America where slavery and the Jim Crow South never existed, Olufemi Adisa (Crystal Porter-Bazemore) is burdened with her dying mother's last request-to find Carol Anne Cole (Jennifer Althen Beacham) and deliver a cherished family recipe. This recipe, intended to fulfill a promise Olufemi's father made but never completed, symbolizes a chance at healing and forgiveness. However, the path to reconciliation is obstructed by a violent shared history, including a murder that occurred 22 years earlier.
