Hey, Beauts! Let's chat... I'm from the 🍑 State— more specifically, the city of Atlanta. I got my Bachelor's degree in English Arts from Hampton University. I'm a fan of all things classic and retro—even people! The elderly are in fact my favorite folks!

I am an award-winning Actress and Writer. My most recent projects include a much-anticipated television series and acclaimed films. I play Nicole Smith in the new series MOMENTS, where I face the difficulties of loss and self-realization. It's a character rollercoaster that will both shock and captivate you.   

In BRIDESMAN, the Emmy-nominated short-form comedy series, I play Bobbi.  She’s living in her own real life “Shining” movie.   This hilarious series is now available on YouTube.

SOUND, the multi-award-winning film in which I both star in and produce, has received 52 festival wins! I play Isabelle Pisano. A woman who has lost some of her hearing. But when her hearing begins to recover, it is deafening. I never speak a word in the film. I received 9 Best Actress wins for this role!💋 My sound co-star won 7 awards for Best Sound Design. Yes, you read that correctly. As seen in the film, the sound design is my Antagonist. It  tortured me.  For the making of the film, I played with the torture and solace of silence. But that’s for another conversation about my Actor process.  Tawan, my talented Filmmaker husband, is the Writer/Director/Cinematographer of SOUND, which Indie Shorts Mag called "A Masterpiece."

Tawan and I recently wrapped our sophomore film, THE RECIPE, through our production company, Cinema Optics. I play Olufemi Adisa. A woman who must carry out her late father's wish. Doing something with a recipe that her Mother could not bring herself to do. Tawan and I co-wrote the film.  He is the Director/Cinematographer.  It’s another #BazemoreDuo (as dubbed my Indie Short’s Mag) that will be screened at film festivals in late 2023.  Excited for yall to see this one!

Additional acting credits include award-winning independent films and television (USA Network, Lifetime Network, BET, Tubi, Mubi, and YouTube TV). My voice has been featured in campaigns for Macy's, Verizon Wireless, Cartoon Network, and Prentice Hall, among others. I am proud to join the cast of the UNDERTOW universe, an ongoing supernatural horror series as Reina Thomas, in the Apple Podcast. (Click "ON SCREEN" Page Link/IMDB Link).

I view acting as an art form that demands commitment to craft. As a woman and storyteller, I place great importance on being involved in projects that use film to challenge social norms and elevate conversations. In a recent interview, I was asked how I select my projects, to which I replied that it is the character that chooses me. It is her story that I say yes to, and by doing so, I can bring her story to life on-screen.

In addition to being an Actor and Producer, I am a two-time published Author and proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. My latest book, CPB LITTLE REMINDERS & 31-DAY GRATITUDE JOURNAL📕 is a must-read for anyone looking to cultivate a daily gratitude practice and find joy in the little things in life.
